The 1916 Patek Philippe Packard Watch ◆Restored by Our Own Tom Baggett◆
Tom Baggett — who works at Cranstoun Court every weekday — was one of them.
James Ward Packard, co-founder of Packard Motor Cars, had commissioned what became one of Patek Philippe’s greatest horological achievements: a double-sided astronomical pocket watch featuring a perpetual calendar, moon phase, carillon minute repeater, and 512 gold stars depicting the night sky over his hometown at sidereal speed.
Patek Philippe hand-selected five watchmakers worldwide to restore it. The watch sold for $1.2 million and now resides permanently in the Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva.
40 Years. One Bench. Every Watch.Tom grew up around watches. He earned his horology degree from Spokane Community College and became the youngest licensed watchmaker in Oregon at age 18. He spent sixteen years at Rolex in Dallas as a quality control technician.
He joined Cranstoun Court in 2018. He is here every weekday.

Tom holds the Certified Master Watchmaker designation — one of only around 110 CMWs in the entire United States. Combined with his Rolex background and railroad certifications, there is no more credentialed watchmaker in the West Valley.
Xavier, Tom’s apprentice, specializes in older and pocket watches — a niche capability most Arizona jewelers turn away.
Walk-ins welcome for batteries. For everything else — bring it in and Tom will take an honest look before any work begins. Every watch stays here, never shipped out of state.
“If I can get the parts for it, I will fix it.” — Tom Baggett
